What a year we have had for college football this season. We have seen a few Heisman contenders fall back in the last couple of weeks, either due to injury or defeat.
The top 3 have solidified themselves and are in the position to have their next Heisman moments in the next couple of weeks.
What has more often than not been an award for a QB of a top team, looks to be continuing this year.
We have had some guys like Jalon Daniels, make early season runs to stardom, but an injury took him out of the race. The Jayhawks and Jalon Daniels have fallen out of the top 25. Michael Penix and Washington had a hot start this year as well, but have faded as well. Last weekend Dorian Thompson-Robinson from UCLA laid an egg in Eugene and his hopes have faded.
USC is led by Caleb Williams, and he is going to have a big game this weekend to get his name back in the mix, while Blake Corum is leading Michigan to an undefeated season so far.
At the moment this seems to be a 2-man race if both of these teams can hold serve in the coming weeks. First is Hendon Hooker, the QB of the Tennessee Volunteers took over the top spot after an amazing effort in a win against Alabama.
He followed that up with another great performance against lowly UT-Martin. He has a couple more tests as Kentucky comes this weekend and then they head to Georgia on November 5.
Co-Front Runner is the trigger man of the Ohio State Buckeyes. CJ Stroud is following up on an amazing season last year and is currently leading the nation with 28 touchdowns. They have not had the same opportunities that Hooker and Tennessee have had yet, but he will have his time to shine in a few weeks against the undefeated Michigan Wolverines.
A few steps back is Bryce Young, the defending champion of the award. Bryce has been battling a shoulder injury but has been the reason that Alabama has been able to squeak out a few games this season. He also had an amazing game against Tennessee, but it just wasn’t enough to get the win as Alabama hasn’t been their normal dominant self.
There is one more player that has a chance to sneak into the mix, and that is Max Duggan who is the leader of the undefeated TCU Horned Frogs. He wasn’t even the starter when the season began, but since he replaced Chandler Morris, all he has done is dominate.
Duggan is 8th in touchdowns, fifth in passing efficiency, and is leading the nation in fewest interceptions. If he can finish the season undefeated, he has a chance to join the New York event.

Bestonlinesportsbooks.com simulation model, which simulates every NCAAF game thousands’ of times, is up +16.7 units over the last three years. We have released 310 total games with 167 WINS and 143 losses ATS for a win % of 53.87%. A $100 bettor of our NCAAF would have netted a profit of $1,670 and, a $1,000 bettor would have won $$16,700 just on NCAAF. We have released only a small number of NCAAF games so far this season.
Now is the time to sign-up and start winning.
